The Myanmar Red Cross Society continues to provide humanitarian assistance to communities affected by the devastating earthquake in the Inle area of Nyaungshwe Township, Southern Shan State.
From 8 to 18 July, MRCS operated mobile clinics in Myaung Wa Gyi, Shay Wa Gyi, Zayat Gyi, and Thale Oo village, providing primary health care services to 1,013 people. In addition, two patients requiring hospital treatment each received MMK 500,000 in financial assistance to support their medical care.
The mobile clinic services were delivered by Red Cross volunteers and staff in collaboration with local communities, with support from Partner National Societies.
