Tada-U, May 14, 2026

On May 14, the President of the Myanmar Red Cross Society Professor Dr. Myo Nyunt, Vice President Dr. Daw Tin Tin Lay, Executive Committee members, Deputy Secretary General, Assistant Secretary General, responsible officials, Mandalay Region Red Cross Supervisory Committee Chair Dr. Thein Tun Saung and committee members, together with representatives from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, visited and observed houses donated for families whose homes were damaged by the earthquake in Wards No. (2) and (3) of Tada-U Township, Mandalay Region.

The houses were constructed and donated by the Myanmar Red Cross Society with support from the Danish Red Cross and Hong Kong Red Cross.

During the visit, the MRCS President and team observed the durability and condition of the houses and checked whether local residents were able to live comfortably and safely. Necessary coordination and support were also provided based on the needs identified during the visit.
