On May 15, at Salin Township Public Hospital in Magway Region, Red Cross volunteer U Soe Naing from the Salin Township Red Cross Branch donated O blood for a patient in need. This marks his 45th blood donation.

Similarly, at Lapatan Township General Hospital in Thayarwaddy District, Bago Region, Red Cross volunteer U Htet Wai Aung from the Lapatan Township Red Cross Branch donated O blood for an emergency patient in need of blood transfusion.

In addition, on May 12 at Chaungmye Hospital in Dawei, Tanintharyi Region, Red Cross volunteers U Min Khant Kyaw (6th donation) and U Dhan Htun (5th donation) from the Dawei Township Red Cross Branch donated O blood for an emergency patient.

Red Cross volunteers not only donate blood themselves for patients in need at hospitals and clinics, but also actively help identify and mobilize compatible blood donors to ensure timely access to safe blood.
