The President of the Myanmar Red Cross Society, Prof. Dr. Myo Nyunt, and his team participated in the 2023 Movement Induction Course (MIC) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from September 11th to September 15th.<\/p>\n

Accompanying the President were Vice President Dr. Daw Tin Tin Lay, Full-Time Executive Committee Members Professor Dr. Yi Yi Tin, Dr. Tin Maung Hlaing, Dr. Soe Hlaing, and Deputy General Secretary Dr. Daw Nyo Nyo Wint. Together, they engaged in discussions covering various topics, including the timely use and reporting of funds donated to the Myanmar Red Cross Society, management steps for prompt utilization, international standing, and responsibilities of Executive Committee members and the General Secretariat, as well as the improvement of increased funding requirements.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the team held discussions with officials from the IFRC Asia Pacific Regional Office on financial management, the development of a system for early compliance detection, and humanitarian mission processes, including human affairs.<\/p>\n

During their time in Malaysia, the President and the representatives learned about the youth activities of the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, the achievements of the Vaccination and Health Unit, and migration and family reunification activities.<\/p>\n
