{"id":17362,"date":"2025-07-16T11:54:38","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T05:24:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.redcross.org.mm\/?p=17362"},"modified":"2025-07-17T15:11:54","modified_gmt":"2025-07-17T08:41:54","slug":"17362","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.redcross.org.mm\/en_US\/uncategorized\/17362\/","title":{"rendered":"Earthquake Response: Cash Relief, Food Items and Non-Food Items Distribution in Naypyitaw."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RThe Myanmar Red Cross Society provides Humanitarian aid to earthquake-affected people in Nay Pyi Taw. <strong>The Myanmar Red Cross Society<\/strong> has been providing the health care sector, <strong>(111) \u00a0people<\/strong> were transported by <strong>ambulance<\/strong> and <strong>(187) people<\/strong> were provided with <strong>psychosocial support<\/strong> to the earthquake-affected people in Nay Pyi Taw for more than three months, from the start of the earthquake on March 28<sup>th<\/sup> until today. <strong>In the water and sanitation sector<\/strong>, more than <strong>390,000 liters<\/strong> of drinking water were produced and distributed to <strong>16,732 people<\/strong> in need of drinking water. Similarly, <strong>12 latrines<\/strong> were also constructed in temporary shelters.
