Each household received <strong>50,000 kyats <\/strong>for assisting the recovery. The cash relief operation focused on several villages across various tracts and groups in <strong>Pinlaung Township <\/strong>(Nampa, Pinlaunggyi East, Pinlaunggyi West, Zedan, Banphe, Yonwin, Ko Khaung, Rin My Taung, Tin Hter, Kyar Pu, Thaekone), <strong>Banka Village group:<\/strong> (Pinkarla, Taung Loi Maung, Banka, Waram, Pin Khun, Yan Kin, Ye Aye, Bu Wa,) <strong>Taung Thi Bua village group:<\/strong> (Nang Pan Taung, Nan PAN Mraw, Nan Pan Naung Pin, Nant Pan Lone Pyin, War Li), <strong>Htee Paung Village Group:<\/strong> (Htee Na Kaung, Hta Ngo, Htee Paung), and <strong>In the Lain Nyar Village Group:<\/strong> (Taung Lay and Lain Nyar and Nampa, Pinlaunggyi East, West, Ze Tan, Ban Phae, Yon Win, Ko Khaung , Rin My Taung, Tin Htet (Ma), Kyar Pu, Thae Kone and in Min Bu village, Min Bu group.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the financial aid, the Myanmar Red Cross Society also distributed various relief items to <strong>total (437) households<\/strong> affected by earthquake.\u00a0 Each household received essential supplies, includes <strong>Female and male hygiene kits, hygiene kits, blankets, mosquito nets, tarpaulins, T-shirts for both men and women and kitchen sets<\/strong>. Moreover, <strong>(30) bed mattresses<\/strong> were provided <strong>to elderly people over the age of 65<\/strong>, and <strong>the shelter toolkits<\/strong> materials total <strong>(52) items<\/strong> were provided to the houses that had been completely destroyed during the earthquake.<\/p>\n<p>The Myanmar Red Cross Society is continuously working on ground to ensure that the relief supplies donated by people from all over the country is reaching out to the communities affected by the earthquake.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On May 17th and 18th, 2025, the <strong>Myanmar Red Cross Society<\/strong> distributed <strong>21,850,000 kyats<\/strong> cash relief to <strong>437 households<\/strong> affected by the recent earthquake in <strong>Southern Shan State<\/strong>.
