The 5th Southeast Asia Red Cross Red Crescent Youth Forum, hosted by the Myanmar Red Cross Society, is being held in Yangon for two days from 7 to 8 September under the theme “Empowering Youth as Leaders for Peacebuilding”.
During the Forum, discussions and exchanges will be held on the IFRC Youth Policy, Red Cross and Red Crescent youth activities being carried out within the Southeast Asia Red Cross Red Crescent Youth Network, regional cooperation, and activities to be carried out in the future.
In accordance with the theme of this Forum, emphasis will be placed on discussing the emergence of social cohesion, inclusion, and peaceful societies through youth participation and leadership, and meaningful participation and leadership of young people will be promoted in accordance with the Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
First Aid is not only the backbone and integral component of Myanmar Red Cross but also the platform for all projects and programs implemented.
