Myanmar Red Cross Society has been awarded the International Humanitarian Service Award 2019 by American Red Cross for outstanding humanitarian services in Myanmar. Myanmar Red Cross Society’s President Dr.Maung Maung Myint received the award during the annual humanitarian award giving ceremony in Washington DC on 4 March 2020. The ceremony was attended by Executive Committee (Full-time) Dr. Tin Nyunt and Pro. Dr. Daw Mya Thu, Director of Operational Management Unit Daw Aye Aye Nyein.
