Rapid assessment survey conducted among earthquake-affected communities in Tatkone, Naypyitaw, 2025, July 5th
From June 30th to July 4th, a survey rapid assessment was conducted in Tatkone township, Naypyitaw. The purpose of this survey was to assess the needs of communities still recovering from the severe earthquake on March 28th and to ensure that they receive the ongoing assistance.
The review was conducted by U Aung Cho, Chairman of the Naypyitaw Red Cross Supervisory Committee, Daw Moe Thida Win, Director of the Disaster Management Department at the Society’s headquarters, and the Head of Emergency Operations for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Mr. Necephor Righa Mghendi Ken.
The local red cross volunteers and red cross volunteers from Mon State who arrived in Naypyitaw to support the earthquake response efforts, the rapid assessment was conducted on (1,304) households in 4 villages tracts, 10 villages and 3 wards in Tatkone township.
